Concept of Thermal Energy Storage in HVAC ICE Ball is stored in a storage tank, they are charged ( frozen ) by means of circulating a glycol based heat transfer fluid around the ICE Balls during OFF PEAK HOURS.
For utilizing the store energy during the day the glycol solution is circulated through frozen ICE Ball in the storage tank. The ICE balls cool the glycol solution that is then pumped to the load to provide air conditioning or process cooling.
Thermal Energy Storage concept was developed to meet the cooling demand without working additional expenses on plant and equipment, thereby also not putting load on the electrical grid for power demand.
